Think about this for a minute.  Isn’t that what you did? You know it is.  Don’t be ashamed to admit it because we’ve all done it.  Here’s a list of some great excuses.  How many have you used?

  • “My trainer didn’t know what they were doing.”
  • “I didn’t have enough time during the week to follow the fitness and weight loss program.”
  • “The diet was hard to follow and I didn’t like how a lot of the food tasted.”
  • “I invested a lot of money and never saw any results.”
  • “I got injured too many times working out.”

We could go on, but those are the most common ones that we hear, and we literally hear them every day.  At least you know that we have been there and done that just like you.  It’s always a lot easier to make excuses than it is to come up with the right reasons to keep on track.  Look, it took you a long time to get out of shape.  You got into a lifestyle involving no exercise while getting into a junk food rut.

So what makes you think that any fitness and weight loss program is going to bring you the results you want overnight?
